Mount Teide Tour and Cable Car tickets

This excursion will take you up to about 2,000 meters above sea level to visit Spain's highest peak, El Teide. We will cross the Corona Forestal Nature Reserve and leave behind the pine forests of Tenerife until we reach the Teide National Park. In 2007, this area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the category of Natural Heritage.

・Along the way, we'll make several stops so you can admire all that Las Cañadas del Teide natural area has to offer: a landscape of spectacular lava flows that look as if they were brought from another planet. Marvel at Teide, which, reaching a height of 3,718 meters, is the third highest volcano in the world from its oceanic base.

・We will also make a stop at the base of the cable car where, if you have purchased your ticket in advance and subject to availability and good weather conditions, you will be able to take the Teide cable car up to La Rambleta station, located at 3,550 meters, where you will find yourself just a few meters from Spain's highest peak.

・If you want to reach the top of the Teide volcano and enjoy the views, then book a place on this excursion with cable car climb and visit the crater. We will take care of obtaining the permit for you. Moreover, you will be accompanied by a guide who will tell you all the fascinating facts about the volcano.

・During the day you will have free time to have lunch on your own and enjoy Canarian cuisine by trying one of our recommended menus in one of the restaurants.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE TEIDE CABLE CAR

・If you wish to use the cable car during your tour of Teide National Park, you must purchase a ticket when booking online, selecting ‘Teide National Park & Cable Car’.

・Payment for the cable car will not be accepted on the bus.

・You can book the cable car ticket at least 2 days in advance to reserve your seat on the cable car.

・Teide cable car does not accept changes or cancellations 2 days before the tour starts.

・The cable car may stop working due to unfavorable weather conditions, we will inform you one day in advance.

・If the cable car is cancelled, the money will be refunded only for the cable car, no refunds will be given for the Teide National Park excursion and no changes to the day of the excursion will be made.

Restrictions

・People with reduced mobility or with a cane, or with heart problems, or who are pregnant or obese, also children under 3 years old are not allowed on the cable car.

・According to current regulations, persons with physical or mobility impairments are not allowed to go up the cable car because of the potential risk if the vehicle has to be evacuated.

・It should be remembered that if the cable car breaks down for unforeseen technical reasons, passengers already at the upper station will have to descend on foot along steep mountain paths.

・Only people with closed shoes are allowed on the cable car, warm clothing is also required.
