A day bus trip to the island of La Gomera, with a round trip by ferry from Tenerife. Lunch included

Gallery
Description

Our day starts by heading to the port of Los Cristianos in Tenerife South, where we will take a ferry to La Gomera.

Once there, we'll board the bus and head into the Hermigua Valley, where we'll have the opportunity to capture some photos of the breathtaking scenery.

We will continue the excursion until we reach the municipality of Agulo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant with local products. If availability permits, during lunch we will witness a live demonstration of "silbo gomero", a unique language declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

After lunch we will enter the Garajonay National Park, a paradise of laurel forests and a nature reserve also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Laguna Grande we will learn all the curiosities of this magical place where it is said that the witches of the island used to meet.

We will make a stop at the imposing Roque de Agando, one of the most emblematic places of La Gomera.

Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastián, the capital of the island. Here we will have the opportunity to discover the last traces left by Christopher Columbus after his passage through La Gomera, such as the Torre del Conde or the Casa Colón. Once we have finished our visit of San Sebastian, we will head back to the ferry to Tenerife.

TextLa Gomera felt like stepping into a secret world. The views were unreal and the forest hike was such a peaceful contrast to Tenerife’s beaches. I loved learning about the whistling language — never seen anything like that before.

TextHonestly didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The ferry ride was chill, and then the island just kept surprising me. The local lunch was delicious and the history behind the island was fascinating. Would recommend even if you’re not into "nature stuff."

TextI’m into culture and history, so this tour was perfect. The guide really brought everything to life — from the ancient traditions to modern local life. And the views? Insane. I kept stopping for photos every five minutes.
